Troy Place is the founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Place Services, Inc. with 20 years of experience and expertise in the construction industry. The strategic and entrepreneurial insights Troy possesses have led to PSI’s impressive growth and success. He has led the company from its inception in 2006 as a small subcontractor to A national company licensed in 50 states and Puerto Rico with repeat business from the largest companies in America. The company’s dynamic growth is also attributable to repeat business, with approximately 80% of the business coming from current clients – showing their level of trust in PSI’s exceptional customer service and how the company operates.

As President and CEO, the primary responsibility is to provide clear direction for the company. Troy makes it his number one mission to clearly and repeatedly communicate the company’s vision so everyone can “row” in the same direction together, and the company can continue to excel. He also takes an active role in developing and implementing high-level strategies and corporate decisions, managing its overall operations and resources.

As Chief Operating Officer of Place Services, John Morris is a results-driven senior executive with extensive experience leading operations and retail installation programs. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience, including 13 years in retail and general construction, supporting national customers across the retail and general construction markets. 

John began his professional career while earning his MBA and working in human resources leadership roles before transitioning into operational leadership within the construction and installation industry. Prior to joining Place Services, he served as President of The Beam Team, a national general contractor, where he led record growth and enterprise value. 

In his current role, John partners closely with the CEO and CFO to develop and execute enterprise strategies that support customers, employees, and long-term business objectives. He carries direct oversight of the Project Management Office (PMO), Business Development, Human Resources, Safety, Facilities & Fleet, Real Estate, and the Flooring Division, playing a key role in aligning operational performance with the company’s strategic vision. 

As Chief Financial Officer of Place Services, Todd Guthrie carries ultimate responsibility for the company’s fiscal operations. An active CPA, his experience spans public accounting and VP and CFO roles with domestic and international manufacturing and services companies. Prior to joining Place Services, Todd served as Tangible Products and Services partner of TechCXO LLC, providing executive services to growth companies. He served at other construction-related companies in this capacity before joining Place Services full time in May 2019. Todd has an established track record of value creation in all areas of financial, cost accounting, and operational management in high-growth and high-change environments.

In his current capacity, Todd leads the accounting, acquisition, treasury, human resources, and information technology teams of Place Services.

As Corporate Controller of Place Services, Tara Talley oversees the company’s financial operations, delivering timely and accurate reporting to support informed decision-making across the organization. She leads a team of approximately 30 professionals and manages operational financials, P&L oversight, and corporate tax, audit, and compliance functions, while also serving as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all financial operations.

Tara brings 15 years of experience in construction accounting, all with Place Services. With specialized expertise in systems integration and process design, she helps drive efficiency and scalability across the organization. Her background also includes experience in the manufacturing and lending sectors.

She focuses on building strong accounting teams by developing talented professionals aligned with the company’s financial goals. She emphasizes a balance of education and natural ability, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and performance.
